Family RC Raceway will be running for points on Friday nights. This will be by the Late
Model Spec class rules. Practice will start at 6:00pm. Qualifying will start at 7:00pm. We
will use your best 10 races to determine the point’s champion. We will award prizes for
the top ten in the points.
We will use a two lap-qualifying format to determine the heat lineups. We will run two
rounds of heats and the mains. We will bump up the winner of each main. Each main will
have the top seven qualifiers and the winner of the lower main. The fast qualifier in the
two lap pre-qualifying will get a starting spot in the A-Main. When this happens we will
have nine cars in the A-Main.
Point’s structure:
100 points to the winner, 99 to second. 98 and so on. They will be a one point drop in
each position. The top qualifier after two rounds of qualifying will receive 5 bonus
points.
