Late Model Short Course rules
This is a Late Model class based off of the two
wheel drive Short Course Trucks!
These classes are met to be fun classes for anyone and
everyone! The idea is to be able to run your truck on the off
road, swap the body and run it on the oval!
Breakout (Limits set by track) This class will allow the guys
who's truck don't fall with in the rules to run with what they
have. Equipment rules are irrelevant! If done right it's really a
good class that everyone can be competitive in, no matter what
there skill level or speed capabilities are!
Must be a stock factory 2 wheel drive SC truck! Four wheel drive SC's
are allowed but must disable front wheel drive. The only upgrades
allowed are durability items! Any and all upgrades must be OEM
specs! All electronics must be in the stock factory designed
No wheel adaptors or spacers!
Springs must be SC truck based and can not be cut or shortened.
Shocks must be SC based and can run any oil and piston combo.
Any Hard Case 2-cell 7.4 lipo or up to a 6 cell NiCd/NiMh
Any speed controller, no boost must run in spec mode.
Any brush-less 17.5 motor or 27 turn brushed motor. All stock Brushed
RTR electronic setups. All brushless RTR must run the Mod class.
Molded one- piece bodies only.
No additional wings, flaps, spoilers, wickers, vents or doohickeys will
Decking is allowed
There will be no metal body parts of any kind.
All bodies must be approved.
Approved Body list:
"Stock"SC truck bodies are also legal. Truck bodies are also
allowed to use the spoiler package.

Rear Spoiler Specs:
Rear spoiler can only be as wide as the body at the rear quarter
Rear spoiler 3" max from deck.
The end caps must be a triangle shape.(See template)
You may have one fin on the spoiler and two side caps.
The third fin must also be the same dimension as side cap.
It can be located anywhere on the spoiler between the two side caps.
The fin must be in line with the side caps on the front leading edge.
Wheel & Tire Specs:
There will not be any grooving or sipping of the rubber tires.
Traction compounds are legal.
Wheels must be the 2.2/3.0 SC wheels, no 1/10 ST or 1/8 buggy
Tires must be the 2.2/3.0 SC rubber tires
Tracks choice on the tire pattern but must be a SC based tire.
All the rules are the same as stock but section 2.
